Tripod is a month old cute little Rottie Cross. His name comes about due to his 3 paws. One of his 4 paws had been run over by a irresponsible bast*ard who didn't bother to stop his vehicle. Tripod was saved by a kind taxi uncle who then brought him to the vet and pay for all his medical expenses.

Tripod is a toilet trained and sweet nature boy. He is also very healthy. Please spread this around. Tripod needs a good home and lots of TLC. He will make a very good pet!

All along, Chucky only takes dry knibbles for his meals as I believe dry knibbles as compared to can food or home-cooked-food will give the dog a more balanced diet and control his dog odour and helps with teeth.

Chucky started off with Natural Balance Sweet Potatoes and Fish, then to Nutro Gold Lamb and Rice and then to Nutro Choice.

The first thing I look out for in commerical dog foods is whether they contain any byproducts. This is as far as my knowledge goes with regards to dog knibbles. As long as they use real meat, I will think that it is good enough and that all those brands out there are more or less the same.



However, diet plays a very important part in a dog's health. The food he takes right now may seem to be doing fine but in the long run, is it really suitable. Will his current food affect his future health and bodily functions?

In choosing dog knibbles, please look out for these harmful ingredients, though small amounts, but don't they consume the food everyday? I read through carefully, and saw that some are banned for human use and some are pesticides.

I did a review on his current and previous dog food. Though they are good brands, there are better options out there.

And I never realize the pros of a grain-free diet for Chucky until now.

With that, I went to buy Wellness Core (grain-free) with good ingredients throughout. A recent hype is the Orijen Knibbles but not all pet shops carry that. Besides that, I am more comfortable with the protein content in Wellness than in Orijen. Hooray for grain free diet. Of course, if you are really pro at it, raw food is still the best for dogs!
